Benefits of Membership | Print |

The Omaha Landlords Association dues are extremely low for a trade organization of our scope. Just some of the member benefits are:

monthlymeetings

Monthly meetings from September to May are held with informed speakers to help keep us up to date on many topics that affect the rental business. The meetings are always kept to one hour, so you get the most information for your time. We meet on the Second Monday of the Month, at 6:45 p.m., but occasionally we have dinner meetings that are held earlier and at different locations.

breakfast

Year round early bird breakfasts are hosted, which offer an informal open forum where any member can ask questions and get answers from other landlords. This networking with other real estate owners is an invaluable education.

newsletter

The Metro Omaha Property Owners Association monthly newsletter is filled with information of interest to landlords, and has special features such as the Garage Sale, Quick Tips, The Top Ten, Letter from the President and more. It’s a great way to stay informed of changes and news!

formspacket

formsAs a new member you will receive a welcome pack with forms specifically designed for the Association. All forms are available to our members for a nominal fee. services

united

The Association has been and continues to be active in the introduction, support or opposition of legislative bills before both the local and the state government.  To date The Omaha Landlords Association has successfully sued the City of Omaha in Federal Court over code enforcement matters, as the city was denying due process of law. Every single rental owner in Omaha is benefited by this collective effort. Join us in our vigilance; because more members have more clout when we stand up for landlord’s rights.

networking

memberproperties We learn from each other to help increase profit and decrease rental problems. We have many landlords in our association that have decades of experience, which helps us all avoid unnecessary expenses and unprofessional pitfalls. It is also great to know others in the business for support and to trade information with. A member forum is provided for association members to interact with each other.
